Add Water light is always flashing?
Thought I'd spread the word about what happens when the "Add Water" light will not stop flashing!
The tube inside the bowl that has "Fill to Here" stamped on top has a magnetic float inside. The float is either stuck at the bottom, or is cracked and will not float anymore.
Remove the 'fill to here' tube by turning it counter clock wise. It is slippery, so you might want a rubber glove to get a grip on it. The magnetic float should fall out of the tube and float or sink.
If it floats, it was probably just stuck in the bottom of the tube. Replace it and the light should stop blinking. If it sinks, it's cracked; call AeroGrow customer service for a new one at 800-476-9669
They will not charge for it, but may ask for the date code on your AeroGarden.
Replace the 'fill to here' tube without putting the cracked float back inside and the light will stop blinking - BUT - it will NOT tell you if the water is very low - I suggest looking in the bowl every other day or so until the replacement arrives.
